strategy: For January, not read anything too challenging.
book: The Red Badge of Courage by: Stephen Crane
why?: On Amazon, there are about 1,000 books you can get for free. Mainly what people consider the classics. This book was one of them and I was never assigned to read it in High School so I figured 'what the hey'.
length: It says in print form it's 126 pages but in Kindle form it felt like a lot more.
5 second book report: It's about a kid who enlists to fight in the Cival War. Before the first battle he's nervous about fighting and getting himself killed. Understandable. As soon as the first battle starts he bails. Also very understandable. Then later on as the battle (and the book) progresses he gets the hang of things and starts getting into killing and stuff. Not a bad book. It was way better than Romeo and Juliet (which I did have to read in High School).
book score: 2 out of 50.
