The other day i was looking for reference for my next painting. I had decided to try my hand at a Godzilla portrait. I tried sketching Godzilla from memory but it looked too Tyrannosaurus -y. So i looked up pictures of him so I'd have something to work from. Hitting the search engines i found some good stuff. I also found a ton of other people's interpretations of the King of Monsters. Most of these are pretty bad ass. Let's take a look.

This is from a movie poster (not that corny one with Mathew Broderick). A good Godzilla movie.
This one is my all time favorite of the bunch. An incredible concept and it's executed masterfully.

"the Groovy and Great" Saranga- agreed. all are pretty kick ass in my book but the last one takes the cake.
"Doctor of Cool" Keith- that Matt Broderick movie was soooo awful. Godzilla looked like a something you could buy at a pet store. and what was the deal with Godzilla giving birth to little baby Godzillas? he's Godzilla not Godessszilla.
